Information on the LE-Adapter

How does it work? Simply thread the LE-Adapter onto the lens of your camera...set the three sizing screws to the approximate diameter of the Eyepiece. Insert the Eyepiece into the    LE-Adapter and firmly tighten the sizing screws to lock the unit to the LE-Adapter.

• The Standard LE-Adapter with 49mm filter thread couples eyepieces of various optical devices like microscopes, monoculars, Swatscopes or spotting scopes where the outside diameter of the respective eyepiece is 12mm (1/2”) to 41mm (1 5/8”) diameter.

• The 2Plus LE-Adapter with 37mm filter threads will couple much larger eyepieces like those found on Kowa, Leica, Swarovski spotting scopes or many telescopes. It will accept eyepieces where the outside diameter measures 35mm (1 3/8”) to 60mm (2 5/16”). For more information on the 2Plus and its application Click here.

• The PVS-14 Adapter with 30.5mm filter threads couples eyepieces of various devices like Rifle Scopes, Spotting Scopes and Swatscopes (where the outside diameter of the respective eyepiece is 1/2 inch to 1 5/8 inch diameter directly to the PVS-14 30.5mm threads.

• The DuoLoc Universal Optical Adapter is a Universal Optical to Optical adapter where the outside diameter of each eyepiece is 1/2 inch to 1 5/8 inch diameter. Frequently used as a night vision adapter, the military is using it in place of the old MonoLoc. The DuoLoc is a much more versatile adapter and does not require bushings. • The LE 2Plus DuoLoc Adapter is a universal optical adapter that couples a 1 5/8 inch eyepiece to an optical device with up to a 2 5/16 inch eyepiece.
