Additional Attachment Information
for the 2Plus LE-Adapter

The 2Plus LE-Adapters will function exactly like our original. Cameras compatibility, cameras settings, installation procedures are exactly the same. The 2Plus LE-Adapter now comes with either 37mm or 28mm threads.

If your camera has 37mm filter threads just thread the 2Plus/37mm LE-Adapter on to the camera lens. Proceed to Step 3 of the Attachment (Installation) Procedures.

If your camera has 28mm filter threads just thread the 2Plus/28mmLE-Adapter on to the camera lens. Proceed to Step 3 of the Attachment (Installation) Procedures. Used for Nikon Coolpix 990, 995, or 4500 digital cameras.

If your camera has filter threads on its lens housing less than 37mm and greater than 28mm you will need to purchase an inexpensive step-up ring. Many of the new camcorders on the market today have 30mm filter threads. In this case you will require an inexpensive 30mm to 37mm step up ring to attach to the 2Plus/37mm LE-Adapter. We offer this step up ring on our Product Page. Attach the step ring to the camera and thread the 2Plus LE-Adapter on to the step-up ring and proceed with Step 3 of the Attachment (Installation) Procedures.

If your camera has filter threads on its lens housing greater than 37mm you will need to purchase an appropriate step-down ring. We offer many step down rings on our Product Page including our exclusive 52mm to 37mm ring. You will need to thread this special step ring to the 37mm threads on the 2Plus LE-Adapter and then proceed with Step 3 of the Attachment (Installation) Procedures.

Be careful when screwing any filter or device on the threads of your camera lens housing. Cross-thread it and you risk damaging the lens and/or the camera. Seasoned pros know that when using screw mounts you turn it backwards until you feel threads line up -- and then you turn it carefully forward paying close attention to the alignment.

The 2Plus LE-Adapters accepts a range of eyepieces diameters between 35mm (1 3/8”) to 60mm (2 5/16”).

We recommend using the Support Bar for the larger digital cameras/camcorders.
